J J Browne and Son (Jewellers) Ltd is a family jewellers established in 1921 by my grandfather.

We have two shops in Caterham.  At 33 Croydon Road we stock a number of watches brands like Rotary, Lours, Calvin Klein, Royal London & Swatch as well as new silver and gold jewellery and sports trophies. At 10 Godstone Road we have a large range of second hand and antique jewellery, as well as a large stock of silver and gold jewellery. We also stock semi precious and precious stone set rings, bracelets, bangles and brooches. We specialise in cultured pearl jewellery and necklets.

We also will buy second hand prestigious watch brands like Rolex, Omega and Longines as well as most jewellery and scrap gold and silver.

Both shops can repair watches, clocks and jewellery as well as re-threading of beads and pearls and we can engrave by machine or by hand.  We also offer a valuation service for either insurance or probate. We charge our valuations for insurance on a per item basis. Most items of jewellery without gemstones are £ 10 each and gem set items @ £ 15 each. (£ 20 minimum charge)

Our workshops can also remake your jewellery and we can even design a special one off piece for you.
