Apologies received from Patrick Cunningham suffering from the flu bug.
Good atmosphere and positive feedback from those Visitors. Great idea from Sue Ambrose on the question and answer routine – and it worked, not just for the Visitors.
Good, crisp presentations, from both Members and Visitors and Star Speaker award presented to Laura Downton for her innovative ideas of using letter cards to spell out Bidwells and highlighting .
As our “Main Man” Robert French was very inspiring with his presentation and it was good that he made us think “ What’s in it for me?” He is absolutely right – we are not a networking organization – we ARE a referral networking organization. OK, so we were latecomers to the use of “Show me the Money” cards, but our running total is already over £150K. That’s what is in it for us in Caterham – Business for our Businesses.
Our thanks to Robert for making the early morning journey up from Canterbury to be with us.
Go Karting:
I have received a reminder from Chris Denny about the Go Karting BNI Challenge, which I have forwarded to John Gooden. If you are interested in forming a Team to represent Caterham please let John know –soon.
The Big Breakfast:
The appeal was for Members to let us know how many were in favour of moving our meeting forward from Tuesday Feb 5th to Monday Feb Feb 4th and holding it within the Big Breakfast at Bridge House Regate. As only two have voted with their feet we must conclude that our meeting stays as normal. Frances Conn and Andrew Browne if you still want to go the Monday Big Breakfast please book yourselves in:
